About Us

Company Background

Employment4students.co.uk Ltd was set up in 2000, after the introduction of university tuition fees, to provide a facility for students to find term time and holiday jobs.

The Market

There are currently over 3 million students in the UK.
95% of students work during the holidays.
Over 40% of students now work during term time the majority of students study outside their hometown.
All universities and colleges in the UK provide free Internet access for their students.
The part time recruitment market is highly inefficient.
Recruiting part time and short contract/temporary workers (especially highly mobile ones) can be extremely difficult and expensive using traditional methods such as newspaper advertising or agencies.

Our Niche

The student labour force of 2.8 million people constitute a large proportion of the part time and temporary work force.
However, this labour force is extremely hard to target due to its tri-annual migration from university/college to holiday residence.
The internet removes geographical and mobility issues, is free for students to use, and provides employers with a low cost, flexible recruitment solution.
Employment4students provides an internet based, cost effective, targeted service for companies wanting to recruit well educated, mobile, short contract and temporary workers.

Our Services

www.e4s.co.uk is essentially an online job board that enables employers to advertise job vacancies to thousands of job seekers via our comprehensive job search facilities.
For a small fee, recruiters can post a full page advert on www.e4s.co.uk complete with a link to their company's website, a company profile and full job description detailing hours of work, minimum age and qualification/experience requirements. Applications are made directly to recruiters in their preferred format.
Student jobseekers use our free, comprehensive job search facilities to find suitable work in a region of their choice on dates they are available. Our job zone also provides information and advice on job interview technique, CV writing, tax and internships.
The Employment4students 'student zone' section has been designed to save students money by highlighting the best deals and discounts on their day to day (and more extravagant!) purchases - everything from stationery, books and computers to possession insurance, gifts, holidays, music, mobile phones and sports gear, as well as sports and concert tickets!
