Tutorfair is a website for parents to find the best local tutors. Our mission is to make tutoring fair, which is why every lesson includes a donation that supports our charity. Whether you're a professional tutor, university student, actor or rocket scientist - if you have experience and a burning desire to teach and change the lives of students, we want you. Tutorfair is free to join – you earn 100% of your base hourly rate teaching subjects ranging from English, Maths and Science to chess, sports and drama. We charge a variable rate of commission to your hourly rate depending on the number of Tutorfair hours you've completed. When you teach on Tutorfair you also automatically give back – the fee for each lesson includes an additional donation paid by your client to the Tutorfair foundation which is run by our community of tutors. In addition to the listing, you will enjoy the benefits of our close knit tutor community which gives you access to Tutorfair’s learning resources, tips, lesson plans, promotions via guest blog posts, social media and video profiles on the website. ................................... The Tutorfair Foundation arranges for tutors to go into inner-city London schools helping children who otherwise would not be able to afford tutoring. Teach First and Tutorfair have designed a volunteer tutoring program ideal for university students. This fantastic opportunity will provide you with training to become an effective tutor and first hand experience of working in London schools. By making a commitment of 10 hours over one school term, you have the opportunity to make a lasting impact on London's pupils. It's a great way "up skill" while giving a little back. |
