Job Description

An Apprenticeship with Facilities Fire Protection (FFP) is a great way to learn while you earn. You will receive technical training, an experienced mentor and a recognised qualification at the end.



FFP are looking for a keen and enthusiastic Service Engineer Apprentice to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity to gain experience in engineering as well as a recognised qualification.



The successful apprentice will be involved in the following:




  • To liaise with FFP engineers on site, following instructions as to best practice at all times

  • To liaise with site clients to ensure FFP’s reputation and standards are maintained/enhanced

  • Ensure and maintain good timekeeping

  • Ensure and maintain presentable appearance

  • Adhere to company and site safety requirements

  • Attend manufacturers training days as and when required

  • Be available for overtime working (as/if required)

  • Be able to provide clear and concise written reports (technical or otherwise) as and when required

  • Be willing to carry out works outside of general job description if FFP’s best interests require it (i.e assist with fire extinguisher servicing, etc.)



The role being offered by Facilities Fire Protection is a field based role and therefore the successful candidate will be working in and around the Thames Valley Corridor and London.
