Job Description
The apprenticeship at Exeter Martial Arts (EMA) will be a sports coaching and activity leadership role within the sports industry. EMA is an established martial arts centre of excellence in the South West., based in central Exeter without reaches across different venues including leisure centres and schools. You will receive training on the job and a day release to Exeter College where you will complete a Level 2 NVQ in Activity Leadership. You will also be given the opportunity to become an assistant instructor in jiu jitsu with a view to achieving national governing body accreditation. The hours will be varied but this is fairly standard for the sports industry therefore you need to be flexible. Knowledge of martial arts disciplines is not essential but is desirable, a passion for a future as a sports coach is vital.
If successful to interview, you must bring 2 character references from non-family members preferably a previous P.E teacher.

Skills Required :
- Excellent communication skills this will be very important as you will be speaking to both adults and children on behalf of EMA
- Good time keeping skills
- Organisational skills will be key

Future employment if applicable. Option to progress onto the Advanced Apprenticeship if applicable also.
