Manufacturing Apprenticeship (Injection Moulding) FTCMy client a successful and well established manufacturing company are currently recruiting for a Manufacturing Apprentice to join their 2017 Apprentice Programme. This apprentice position will be based at their components site in Oxford, an FTSE 250 company and a leading global provider of essential components and solutions. They focus on the light manufacture and distribution of high volume, enabling components which serve customers in a wide variety of end-markets and geographies.Their work based apprenticeships will give you the opportunity to earn a competitive starting salary of 12,600 with regular pay increases every 6 months (subject to performance). By the end of the 3 year apprenticeship programme you could be earning approximately 26,000 (subject to successful performance reviews).As you progress through your structured training you will be given real responsibility and learn all the technical aspects of plastic injection moulding, as well as the theory behind the practical work. You will also be allocated an experienced manufacturing professional who will mentor and support you. You will also acquire a professionally recognised qualification.This apprenticeship would suit a motivated individual with a hands on approach, enjoys learning to use technical machines, likes problem solving and understands the importance of producing quality products. Qualified Operators are responsible for producing high quality plastic components that are used by our global customers.
