At the end of your 4 year apprenticeship, given that you pass your assessments and expectations set, you will be a qualified Mechatronics Engineering Technician and will have achieved the following qualifications:* EAL Level 2 Diploma in Advanced Manufacturing Engineering (Foundation Competency)* EAL Level 3 Diploma in Advanced Manufacturing Engineering (Development Knowledge)* EAL Level 3 Diploma in Advanced Manufacturing and Engineering Mechatronics Maintenance Technician (Development Competency)Whilst studying, you will work within our Manufacturing group where you will be responsible for ensuring that the equipment is maintained to a standard necessary for the production of high valued manufactured products. Typically the work covers a broad range of activities including installation, testing, fault finding and the on-going maintenance of complex automated equipment. This requires the application of a blend of skills, knowledge and occupational behaviours across the electrical, electronic, mechanical, fluid power and control systems disciplines.What we are looking forTo be considered for this programme, you should have the following:* 5 A* - C GCSE's Minimum including Maths, English and Science* Willing to travel to Bedfordshire* Based and eligible to work in UK* Ability to travel within Bedfordshire areas. You might be required to travel within the area to attend training courses & events so flexibility is requiredWe are looking for someone who is keen to make a difference, with a strong drive for results and wants to build their career in a very dynamic environment. You will have the ability to work independently but also as part of a high performing team.
