Magicard Ltd are looking to recruit an IT Support Assistant for their site based in Weymouth, Dorset.
Overall Purpose:
To Assist the System Administration and Digital Marketing Representatives to enable a resilient and stable IT Service is provided to users and assist in the provision of customer internet resources.
Key Tasks:
- Providing IT support to users
- Problem solving & troubleshooting
- Configuring desktop and laptop PC’s
- IT Systems Administration – new user account setups, IT stock inventory, help guides
- Installing software, and assisting with ad-hoc requests
- Providing operational support for corporate systems such as Salesforce CRM, Macola MRP and Office 365
- Assistance in the management of web assets and cloud based services
Person Specification:
Skills, Experience and Abilities:
- A strong motivation for a career in IT
- The ability to communicate confidently with customers at all levels of the business
- Have excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to multi-task, prioritise workload and work to strict deadlines using own initiative
- Good attention to detail
- A love of problem solving
- A proactive and methodical approach
- Understanding of Basic HTML/CSS is not required but beneficial
- A basic understanding of internet systems
- A good level of computer proficiency

- Can work on their own initiative without instructions

Future Prospects : Full time permanent position if apprenticeship goes well, plus the opportunity to gain further qualifications.
