Job Description
- You will be supporting adults to cook, clean, attend to personal hygiene, attend to cleaning of home, attend to personal hygiene, access the community/clubs, find volunteering work or paid employment, helping with correspondences, prompting of medication, promoting healthy living and following an individual support plan.
- You will required to record daily notes to an excellent standard as this is a legal document.
- You will be required to take an active part in updating and improving support plans and risk assessments.
- Work within a management structure and work well within the team.
- Build relationships with the team and truly take on a team working ethos.
- Responsible for the safeguarding of vulnerable adults and reporting of any incidents and concerns.
- Uphold a professional working relationship with colleagues and professional boundaries with service users.
- Work with other agencies and represent Unity Dorset in the best way at all times.
- Able to use initiative and lone work as well as a team player.
- Suggest and implement better ways of working.
- Truly committed to the role and takes responsibility for personal development as well as taking part in required training.
