Job Description

About the role:




  • To assist in the operation of the store by greeting every customer, answering their queries, and completing all associated administrative duties.

  • Contribute to the achievement of sales targets by selling customers the products that best meet their needs, converting undecided browsers into loyal Specsavers customers.



Your objectives:




  • Provide customers with the highest quality of customer service to Specsavers standards.

  • Maintain a clean and tidy front of store in line with Specsavers retail standards.

  • Actively seek to improve your own skills and product knowledge.

  • Achieve excellent Mystery Shopper scores.

  • Carry out all basic till transactions and customer paperwork correctly.

  • Deal with booking enquiries and telephone queries.

  • Follow NHS guidelines at all times.

  • Effectively inform customers about all Specsavers products and offers.

  • Meet and exceed all personal and team goals.

  • Be an ambassador for the Specsavers brand at all times.

  • Be able to deliver an excellent standard of customer service

  • Friendly disposition

  • Able to work on own initiative

  • Work as part of a team

  • Telephone answering skills

  • Administrative skills

Future Prospects : There is the prospect of a permanent role with the company after successful completion of the apprenticeship.
