Job Description

Duties will include:




  • Customer stock enquiries

  • Product and service enquiries

  • Sample requests

  • Order placement and execution

  • CRM System

  • Complaints processing; Returns, credits/debits,

  • Order book date management

  • Query management



Build effective relationships maximizing and maintaining a positive customer experience




  • External Customer - Forbo customers. 3rd Party service providers

  • Internal Customer – BAM’s, team colleagues, colleagues in other departments

  • Other Sites – Production plants, Ripley & Kirkcaldy



Provide general administration support for the customer service department and business process team




  • Maintain the company mailbox

  • Support the maintenance of the SAP database

  • Provide reporting and auditing



Key Clients you will deal with are:




  • Supply Chain organisation and/or Group Sales Support to ensure product availability for orders

  • Finance Departments to ensure correct procedures are followed and Customer issues are managed.

  • BAM’s to ensure best possible levels of communication are achieved

  • Other Customer Services teams

  • Other Forbo Departments, as required, e.g. Marketing, IT

  • Logistics teams to ensure deliveries are met

  • External customers



Applicants will be required to attend an Assessment Centre with Vision Apprentices as part of the screening process.

  • Good communication skills, particularly telephone and e-mail

  • Good interpersonal skills across all levels

  • Willingness to undertake day to day tasks without considering them boring

  • A team player
