To be considered you must be an ambitious Physics graduate who has a 2 1 degree at the very least, with experience working with secondary aged children. You will be able to remain sensitive to the varying circumstances of your pupils, displaying empathy and compassion where required. The successful candidate will have superb subject knowledge and the communication skills to transpose their knowledge in an intelligible, simple fashion. You must possess a dedication to your role and a natural passion for education .

In this Physics Teaching Assistant post you will be supporting general classes within the focused Science Department and you will be helping the teacher with planning and preparation. Part of your role will include assisting in extra curricular activities and working under the mentorship of a seasoned Senior Teacher. The high standard of teaching found in this department has resulted in the subject being the first choice for pupils at A Level. Your duties will involve leading booster and intervention sessions across all Key Stages. This Physics Teaching Assistant position involves enrolling in an exceptionally well organised continued professional development plan that has been created to ensure you are supported through your development . Day to day, you will be taking instruction from a talented Head of Science who is an on hand to give you advice and support your development .
