Summary

ROLE:
To ensure each guest served receives friendly and professional service and Prezzo standards are upheld at all times

RESPONSIBILITIES:

As a Waiter/Waitress, youll be our customers main connection with Prezzo and demonstrate great service by being welcoming, passionate, engaging and attentive. Youll play as big a part in creating a memorable dining experience as the amazing food youll serve by:


* Acknowledging and genuinely greeting customers as they arrive at the restaurant

* Always having a smile on your face and helping to create a friendly and welcoming environment

* Work well with all team members within the restaurant and all Prezzo employees to help create a positive atmosphere

* Complete all training assigned to you within a reasonable time period

* Ensuring the Prezzo Service Steps are delivered to all guests as a minimum, and engaging with the customers in conversation as appropriate

* Ensuring orders are taken promptly and queries dealt with; assessing customers needs and preferences and make recommendations

* Actively selling and recommending additional menu items, where appropriate, to increase sales and drive average spend per head (ASPH)

* Maintaining excellent service standards, throughout the meal, by checking back with customers, clearing tables promptly, and dealing with other customer requirements

* Being attentive and available to your customers when they need you

* Taking payment from customers promptly, ensuring all transactions are completed accurately and the correct money is exchanged

* Ensuring all monies are securely handled and accurately balanced at end of shift

* Making sure there is sufficient supply of equipment, prep and ingredients for service

* Ensuring your section and working areas are kept clean, tidy, set and stocked up at all times

* Prepare tables by setting up to Brand Standards

* Complying with all Food Safety and Health & Safety regulations

Personal qualities

We are looking for enthusiastic, committed individuals with a desire to develop and succeed. You will be required to deliver a high standard of customer service. Able to work under pressure, you must also be able to resolve any customer complaints to achieve a satisfactory outcome. Youll also ensure high standards of cleanliness whilst ensuring at all times that legal requirements are strictly adhered to. You must be able to work a minimum of 30 hours per week.
