Job Description
Duties to include:
- ETA calls to customers on the day prior to delivery
- Delivery follow up calls to customers after delivery requesting feedback
- Entering Container Repair Estimates on to spreadsheets / Amending Purchase Orders
- Sending Padlocks to customers
- Click to scan documents (Scanning in documentation we want to keep so it can be shredded to keep us ‘paper free’)
- Live Order reports - cross checking the live order paperwork is correct
- Stock Cross checking – highlighting any discrepancies
- Chasing stray containers which have not yet arrived from China
- Updating spreadsheets with vessel ETAs for units being delivered from China
- Checking off invoices against purchase orders
- Raising purchase orders
- Hotel/Trains/Flights Bookings
- Office shopping - Ordering stationary, decals, water, tea, coffee etc for office and depots
- Answering the phones when required, dealing with queries and taking messages
- Office administration tasks
- Folding Invoices for accounts department
- Assisting with mailshots/letters/cards sent to customers
- Industry Research as/when required
- Creating Reports/Data Entry tasks
- Communications with Depots and Competitors when required to check availability for work/stock
