The successful applicant will be a compassionate PE graduate who has already spent time in a role where you worked closely with children and earned a second class degree or higher. The right applicant will have a responsible nature and a genuine passion to become a qualified teacher. You will have the ability to jump in and help with the schools extra curricular programmes.
At this forward looking school, as a Graduate Sports Teaching Assistant you will be supporting teaching and learning across the school. Part of your role will include teaching hockey, cricket, rugby, football, athletics etc., as part of a close knit department overseen by a HoD. Your skill set will dramatically improve as you lead lessons of your own to mixed ability pupils. You will be enjoying the useful and interesting CPD and training schemes that in most schools would only be on offer for qualified teachers. Your responsibilities will include involving yourself in all aspects of this learning community by participating in the school's many and varied extra curricular activities.
