Job Description

You will be working towards your L2 Business Admin apprenticeship by assisting in a range of duties relevant to your studies. As we are an international exam board you will gain experience of working within the following areas: education and assessment (specifically beauty & holistic therapy), compliance and quality assurance, international travel and national / international customer service. Other, separate, departments within the organisation cover marketing and professional insurance, so there may be opportunity to learn about these too. You will also be set aside time to complete your learning.



Duties include:



- General admin duties i.e. photocopying, filing (paper and electronically)



- Using Word and Excel to create spreadsheets and other documents



- Answering phone calls, email enquiries and greeting any clients in the office, ensuring messages are passed on or actioned.



- Assisting with organising meetings



- Assisting the account executives in providing excellent customer service to their accounts (national and international training centres)



- Assisting with organising international travel for the examining team



- Printing and collating paperwork packs containing exam papers and other documents



 Processing exam results and recording candidate achievement



- Maintaining customer and candidate records on internal systems and website



- Attendance at UK based shows and events (with other team members) as required, a couple of times a year.


Personal Qualities :

A team player happy to work within a small team, able to work to tight deadlines by prioritising workload and multi-tasking as required. Mature attitude, personable and able to interact in a friendly, professional way with colleagues, customers and others at all levels.



Skills Required :

Proficient in Microsoft Office, excellent numeracy and literacy, excellent customer service, able to pay attention to detail and work methodically, with an organised approach



Future Prospects : Possible permanent position upon completion of apprenticeship or progression to L3 training
