Job Description
You will develop skills and knowledge whilst working as a hospitality apprentice and you will be contributing to maintaining high levels of customer service and ensuring that the reputation of the business is high.
Duties include:
- Greeting customers as they arrive
- Provide a high level of customer service at all times
- Taking orders for drinks
- Serving drinks and food (not hot food)
- Dealing with bill payments
- Making sure tables are clean and tidy
- Maintaining the cleanliness of the establishment
Cellarwork includes taking deliveries, stock rotation, cleaning lines, racking casks and preparing the pub for the day and night ahead.
We do also offer all our staff extra training opportunities with our partnership with Everards Brewery. Things like basic food hygiene, first aid, basic health and safety, bronze and silver cellar courses. We encourage all our staff to complete as many of these as they can and at no cost to the staff.
Candidates must be 18 to be able to serve alcohol.

Future Prospects : This apprenticeship has previously been completed and the previous apprentice is now a permanent full time member of staff who is learning additional responsibilities. There is also an opportunity for progression onto Level 3 apprenticeship
