Administration
- Administration of the H&S Committee – meetings, minutes, action follow up
- The administration of the Occupational Health contractor – booking appointments, follow up call with workforce, collating management information
- Accident and incident reporting – keeping the log, updating management information
- Maintaining and updating the ACT H&S Standards, risk management guidance, checklists
- Undertaking workplace checklists and resolving actions
- Overseeing the First Aid and Fire provision for ACT
- Managing H&S advisors delivery of training – organising workshops, attendance, and feedback
- General administration tasks as directed by management
Health and Safety Specific
- DSE (Display Screen Equipment) assessor
- Risk Assessor (less complex assessments)
- Reviewing standards and maintenance of PPE (personal protective equipment)

- Self-motivated
- Excellent judgement
Skills Required :
- Strong administrative skills
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to confidently deal with clients both face to face and on the telephone
- Impeccable attention to detail
- Ability to multi-task and prioritise work effectively
- IT Literate; comfortable maintaining spreadsheets and experienced in the use of Microsoft Office
- Ability to work independently
