Job Description

Service Service is an independent recruitment business that operates within a number of sectors. Due to expansion we are looking for a forward thinking proactive Apprentice to join our team.



As a Business Support Apprentice you will be an integral member of the highly experienced team and will be working with both the director and the recruitment consultants on a number of different tasks to ensure that you gain both exposure and skills to progress within this sector. Duties will include:



Key duties will include:




  • Handling incoming calls with a high level of professionalism.

  • Ascertaining the callers need and handling / transferring / message taking efficiently.

  • Meeting and greeting incoming visitors, ensuring excellent service.

  • Liaison with applicants and clients, assuring optimum service levels consistently delivered.

  • Maintenance of electronic and hard copy filing systems in line with regulatory guidelines.

  • Contacting applicants on the database for progress updates and maintaining internal system.

  • Formatting of applicants CV’s in line with company standards

  • Posting of job advertisements on online job boards

  • Maintaining stationery supplies, including the processing of orders



To ensure you have an in depth understanding of the company and its core functions there will numerous opportunities to go off site.

  • A passion for talking technical language and making it understandable

  • A passion for solving tough problems and proposing solutions

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office – Word, Google Mail, Excel, PowerPoint

  • Ability to plan and prioritise own workload utilising good time management and organisational skills to meet sometimes tight deadlines
