Job Description

If you’ve an excellent attention to detail, can identify trends and patterns in data and also have great computer skills, then you’re a data analyst.



In this role you’ll be using these skills to help analyse data, starting your career journey working in the global IT industry for one of the UK’s fastest growing consultancies with a clearly defined career path.



You will not just receive excellent support and mentoring, but also on the job training, industry recognised qualifications and exposure to some of the most innovative technology businesses.



Our apprenticeship programme will be the foundation to a great career in information technology.



Duties and responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to the following:




  • Assisting in the production and collection of client facing data questionnaires

  • Performing analysis of data (excel based) provided by clients

  • Supporting Data Analysts in the cleansing/normalisation, manipulation and management of software discovery data

  • Assisting in the creation of reports and optimisation reports

  • Gaining vendor (Microsoft, Oracle, IBM, etc) licensing knowledge to support our Consultants

  • Producing minutes for client meetings

  • Other Internal duties

  • Good verbal and written communication skills

  • Pro-active, passionate and motivated attitude

  • Ability to work independently on their own initiative and well as part of a team

  • Takes a high degree of pride in their work

  • Has the drive to go the extra mile to deliver on their promises to see results



Skills Required :

  • Some knowledge and appreciation of the IT industry and the organisations we deal with

  • Good to advanced Microsoft Excel skills, with an understanding of how formulas and pivot tables work

  • Good Microsoft Office Skills

  • Any experience of software licensing would be an advantage, but not necessary

  • SQL scripting/programming an advantage, but not necessary

Previous apprentices have demonstrated excellent potential, they continue to be seen as valued members of our team, the majority have remained working with us after being taken onto permanent contracts.

We will train and nurture you and mentor you to help you decide on how best to progress you and your career. We would love you to become a consultant within 2-3 years and even become responsible for the new apprentices that join us. Just ask our past and existing apprentices on our programme!
