An excellent opportunity has arisen for an Apprentice to work for an award winning firm that specialises in business to business sales. This opportunity will allow you to be part of a rapidly growing business in the heart of Brighton. Whilst working within a busy, modern office environment, training will cover all aspects of administration in line with the company’s standard operating procedures.
The Apprentice will play an important team role in the day-to-day planning, organisation and smooth running of the department, to ensure all business objectives are met.
Your daily duties will include:
- Processing of orders
- Supporting customer and supplier queries.
- Researching required information using available resources
- Effectively manage incoming calls
- Process orders set by Managers
You will be supported throughout your employ through your apprentice provider.
Training to be Provided City & Guilds
You will be working towards an Intermediate/Advanced Apprenticeship in Business & Administration, which will include:
- Level 2/3 City & Guilds Diploma in Business & Administration
- Level 1/2 Functional Skills in Maths, English & ICT
- Personal Learning & Thinking Skills
- Employer Rights & Responsibilities
Personal Qualities :
- Methodical and have the ability to prioritise workloads to meet deadlines.
- Be able to manage time effectively to combine study with working in the office.
- Punctual, flexible & reliable.
Skills Required :
- Good communication skills – both verbal and written
- Able to work as part of a team
- Good organisational skills
Future Prospects : Opportunity to join as member of the customer service or finance team on a full time permanent basis.
