THE COMPANY
Our client, a prestigious Insurance firm based in Central London, are looking to recruit a Trainee Claims Adjuster to join the Claims Team on a 3 year Internship.

THE ROLE

Assist the Claims team to further develop the company s market leading claims offering
As a member of the claims team you will be trained to investigate, negotiate and settle claims
After the initial training has been completed approx. 3 6 months candidates will take responsibility for own case load dealing with third parties including customers, solicitors, insurance brokers and loss adjusters
Ensure fair customer outcomes commerciality when decision making in line with company values
Have a clear understanding of the company's risk appetites in terms of delegated authority, conduct and financial crime
Liaising with Underwriters to assist in ensuring that they are fully briefed on claims issues
Assisting other claim handlers with their caseloads
Be aware of and comply with the relevant rules and regulations in relation to financial crime conduct


THE PERSON

Must be educated to at least GCSE A level standard with at minimum B in Maths and English at GCSE. 3 A levels or equivalent
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
Must be a keen learner and have a desire to progress
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to establish and maintain professional working relationships
Must have a positive, can do attitude
Strong attention to detail
Highly competent in the use of Microsoft Office
Able to work on own initiative as well as part of a team
