Job Description

Our Client, is a large veterinarians practice with many branches throughout the UK. Their mission is to provide pets with the best possible care and to make sure that owners always receive friendly advice and support.



At present they are currently looking for an IT Support Apprentice to join their well-established IT team based at their support centre in Watford.



Key duties would include:




  • Responsible for receiving, recording, managing, co-coordinating and resolving Help Desk Incidents and Service Requests

  • Responsible for keeping users notified and informed on status and progress of Help Desk Incidents and Service Requests

  • Responsible for ensuring user customer satisfaction in every step of the Help Desk process

  • Responsible for monitoring their Help Desk queue, identifying any potential or actual SLA failures and notifying the IT Help Desk Manager or seeking guidance from 2nd Line colleagues

  • Maintaining the Incident/Request Call Logging System

  • Maintain procedures where necessary with instruction from the IT Help Desk Manager

  • To support the IT Help Desk Manager by assisting in any additional duties

  • To adhere to all policies and procedures as requested by the IT Help Desk Manager

  • Basic understanding of PC’s

  • Customer Service experience required

  • Experience of using call logging systems desirable
