Meridian Business support is actively looking for an enthusiastic, talented, ambitious and skilled individual who thrives on a challenge to undertake a placement within our clients Quality and Technology department. This is an investigatory role which will involve working on the shop floor, interacting with production operators and other members of the organisation to produce and process quality data. It is an exceptional opportunity for an active student to gain experience within a global manufacturer. This will be an excellent opportunity for someone who is in the process of completing a Bachelors degree in engineering.
Our client predominantly supports the aerospace industry and the key objective of this role will be to identify and analyse specific process routes that experience high downstream losses and understand specific failure modes which incur yield losses. You will work with a team to identify and implement actions and solutions in line with findings.
To be considered for this unique opportunity, candidates must meet the following criteria
Must be enrolled in an accredited residential college university.
Must have successfully completed first year prior to assignment.
Must be pursuing a minimum of a Bachelor's degree in an engineering subject, ideally Metallurgy or Manufacturing Production Industrial Engineering.
Will be able to work with minimal supervision.
Will be able to demonstrate an understanding of how to approach problem solving and find solutions.
Must be able to communicate and interact with all levels.
Must possess a positive CAN DO ATTITUDE
In return you will receive a salary of 20,000 per annum pro rata and the opportunity of working with a world class leader in their field for up to 12 months.
