Job Description
This is a varied role, providing you with the all the relevant skills and experience for a successful career in the offsite construction industry. Projects involve commercial buildings (Schools, Colleges, Hotels, Student Accommodation) and residential properties. The role involves the design for manufacture of these products using a variety of design software.
Day to day tasks will include:
- Preparing detailed engineering designs
- Producing technical drawings and schedules
- Working with clients, construction teams and contractor partners
- Assisting with the development of 2D drawings and 3D models to contract design information and deadlines
Utilising various methods of communication as and when required.
As an Apprentice, you will initially attend the Cadcoe Academy for a 20 week course 4 days a week, where you will learn how to use CAD software for 2D and 3D modelling.

Skills Required :
- Computer literacy is essential
- Candidates must be competent in Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Experience of CAD packages is not essential as full training will be given

Future Prospects : CAD engineering in civil, structural, architectural, electrical disciplines. £16K entry level positions available after apprenticeship program.
