Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity to join our team in the role of Security Officer at Edgbaston Stadium.

Responsible for putting guest and venue security first, our Security Officers are at the core of our operation. Through excellent customer service, diligence and attention to detail they ensure that each of our dynamic and versatile events runs smoothly. Our Security Officers have integrity in every part of their work, acting as a front line member of the team they never shy away from any situation.

The successful candidate will deliver comprehensive security services including: reception, meet and greet, phone answering, access control, lock-down, site patrols, car park management, and safety monitoring tasks as directed by the Facilities Management team. Qualifications

  • • Must hold SIA Door Supervisor License and SIA Public Space Surveillance License (CCTV) • Driving License required • First aid at work qualification is desirable • Approachable, friendly, personable candidates • Punctual, presentable, trustworthy and enthusiastic • Flexible but reliable in approach to working weekends and event cover • Must have previous customer service security experience in comparable venues • Excellent communication skills – written and verbal • Reliable and self motivated with the ability to work well under pressure • Highly organised with a real attention to detail when monitoring site • Passionate about delivering the best customer service experience • Ability to follow strict policies and procedures • Ability to bring concerns via corporate channels • Ability to respond to situations in a timely and appropriate manner • Ability to ensure all logs and reports are completed on time and accurately LSS are equal opportunities employers and positively encourages applications from suitably qualified and eligible candidates regardless of sex, race, disability, age, sexual orientation, gender reassignment, religion or belief, marital status, or pregnancy and maternity.
