Job Description
Acklam Grange School are seeking an apprentice who will work with and learn from experienced professional support staff, teachers and other adults in the school environment.
This vacancy requires the successful candidate to work closely with students with ASD. This role is challenging but very rewarding at the same time as you will see the student's development overtime. This support covers all types of work such as:
- Working 1 to 1 with the student and guiding their learning
- Accompanying the student to classes
- Supporting the student and guiding them with their homework.
This support will cover all areas of the curriculum the student is studying so no 2 days of support will ever be the same.
Opportunities will be provided for the individual to develop knowledge, skills and understanding to contribute to the success of the ARC Services and develop a wide range of skills.

Future Prospects : The suitable candidate may have the opportunity to progress on to a level 3 qualification and gain employment within the school.
