Job Description

The successful candidate will have to have good communication skills as your role will include:




  • Meeting and greeting clients on entering business premises

  • Answering telephone and dealing with general enquiries as well as responding to email enquiries.

  • In addition, you will be arranging viewing appointments and valuations

  • Writing letters

  • Photocopying and filing along with dealing with the post.

  • You will be providing additional administration support to other administrators in office when required.



Part of your role will also entail learning about the current stock available, where they are located and what they offer to potential purchasers. You will also be taking note of offers made and putting them forward to vendors and completing sales.


Personal Qualities :

The particular demands, requirements and expectations of the role means that you will have personal skills and abilities which include an outgoing and enthusiastic personality with a flexible and adaptable approach, ambitions of building a career in the Estate Agency industry and be resilient to set backs, with the ability to overcome obstacles.



In addition, you must be comfortable working in a target and results driven environment, possess high standards of personal presentation and be comfortable when engaging with people from a wide range of backgrounds. The ability to multi task and to effectively prioritise and self-manage is also important.



Skills Required :

The demands of the role means that you will have a number of professional skills and abilities which include excellent interpersonal and communication skills with confidence in customer facing situations and the ability to effectively influence and to negotiate. You will also have an organised approach with excellent attention to detail, confidence and experience in using a variety of ICT, with particular knowledge and confidence in using MS Word and Excel.



You will also have excellent general keyboard and typing skills, confidence in answering the telephone for both incoming and outgoing calls and knowledge and understanding of data protection and customer confidentiality regulations, with the ability to work confidently within a target orientated environment.



Future Prospects : Once having completed your level 2 apprenticeship, you progress onto a level 3 qualification and gain full-time employment within the company, should you show the relevant skills and knowledge.
