Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity for the right candidate, with a passion to learn and develop in Administration, to complete their Level 3 qualification with the Adult Social Care team. This is a fantastic chance to gain a higher qualification in Administration, for those that already have already demonstrated the skills and knowledge required to start this qualification. You will complete the course with a mix of practical experience in a busy office environment and through time spent learning in an educational setting.



Our administration team support the delivery of a comprehensive support service to the wider Social Care team and work towards meeting the needs of service users and members of the public. They are an efficient, comprehensive clerical and administration service.



We are looking to recruit an Administrator who will work within our operations team to support with administration responsibilities. This challenging and rewarding position may involve tasks like:




  • Diary management.

  • Organising meetings.

  • Writing letters/minutes.

  • Completing spreadsheets.

  • Supporting with reports and day-to-day co-ordination within Social Care Team.



With opportunities to develop your skills and a chance to be involved with a multi – disciplinary team, it holds fantastic prospects, this apprenticeship will give you the chance to learn the skills and knowledge needed for a Level 3 administrator. Skills Required :

  • Experience of working in an administrative position, or a role involving similar activities.

  • Experience of working as part of a team.

  • Experience of dealing with internal and external customers.

  • Working knowledge of relevant legislation and policy context appropriate to this post.

  • Experience of working within a complex statutory organisation.

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal at all levels.

  • Effective time management.

  • Good skills in producing work including formatting, layout and style.

  • Good level of IT skills, with experience of using all Microsoft packages, e.g. Word, Excel, Outlook etc.

  • Ability to find information and undertaking research in an efficient manner using appropriate tools, e.g. internet.
