Job Description
You will be working in a close and interactive working environment who aim to provide highly effective marketing, communications and design solutions consistently, with skill, enthusiasm, care and enjoyment.
Your job role will include:
Client Support:
- Liaison with existing and potential clients over the phone, in writing and in person.
- Support for Project Managers on any aspect of service delivery.
- Completion of project proposals and plans.
- Monitoring work done and recording hours.
General Marketing and business administration:
- Competitor and audience research for client companies.
- Development of brand guidelines for clients as projects complete.
- Promotion for our own business including researching content for and posting to Magstar’s social channels including Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, Dribbble and Google+, as well as communicating with Magstar’s audiences.
- Sales research, identifying specific markets and gathering data on potential clients.
- Maintenance of client files and information systems (SMS and project management).
- Liaising with clients on content creation for all forms of collateral.
Digital Marketing:
- Support for digital projects and contributing to the development of strategies including earned media, email marketing and social media.
- Content analysis and updating using CMS.
- Creation, monitoring and maintenance of social media accounts and campaigns, using tools such as Google Analytics, Mailchimp, Basecamp, Photoshop.
- SEO review and PPC projects, including research into link building/guest writing opportunities to improve SEO position.
- Contributing to content creation in terms of research, ideation and copywriting.
- Creating assets for social media campaigns.
- Search engine optimisation to drive Magstar’s ranking for a range of keywords and improve website traffic.
- Keyword research and analysis.

- Out-going, good team –player, proactive and quality focussed.
- Just have some work experience over a prolonged period of time (e.g. Saturday job for at least a year).
