Job Description

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a motivated and vibrant individual to join the team at La Marque Beauty.  The successful candidate must be dynamic and hardworking and keen to support in the fast paced office of this rapidly expanding business. 



Started in 2006 manufacturing nail files and accessories, La Marque Beauty has worked hard to gain an excellent reputation and boasts an impressive clientele including many well-known retailers such as Boots. Over the last three months the business has doubled in size and there is now the opportunity to welcome an administration assistant to the team. This is a great opportunity for someone to join a small team of highly motivated people in a rapidly expanding business.



Duties to include the following:




  • Learning the basics of Sage accounting system, plus our customers IT systems

  • Producing purchase orders and invoices

  • Recognise and deal with customer and supplier queries, requests and problems

  • Organise and archive paperwork, documents and computer based information

  • Dealing with oncoming and outgoing post

  • General office duties such as scanning, printing and copying

  • Meeting and greeting visitors

  • Answer telephone queries and prioritise call backs and messages

  • Preparing, printing and distributing documents and letters

  • Monitoring and maintaining databases

  • Supporting colleagues on day to day running of business

  • Contributing to ensure all office premises are clean and a safe environment

  • Helping out with day to day duties which may also involve helping out with production


Personal Qualities :

  • Polite, confident and friendly approach

  • Ability to take responsibility for your work, behaviour and developments

  • Enthusiastic individual with a flexible attitude to working in a busy environment



Skills Required :

  • Good working knowledge of ICT packages including Word, Excel and Outlook

  • Excellent communication skills are essential with a clear and professional telephone manner

  • Excellent presentation, organisation and timekeeping skills

  • Ability to work as part of a team

  • Be able to carry out tasks accurately following instruction



Future Prospects : This opportunity could lead to possible progression onto a Level 3 qualification or the offer of a full time contract upon successful completion of the Level 2 programme.
