Job Description

My client is a well established multi disciplinary environmental consultancy who provide specialist landscape architecture, landscape planning, urban design and ecology services to clients throughout the UK. This business has three offices across the UK and is made up of a team of highly experienced professionals, offering technical expertise to a wide range of projects. My client work on challenging projects in sectors including commercial, industrial, energy, residential, and health and education. Due to continued success and rapid expansion within the business, a talented Graduate Landscape Architect is required to join the team in their Bedford office.

Requirements

Degree and post graduate qualification in Landscape Architecture, such as a Masters or Diploma
Excellent graphic skills and a keen eye for design
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Understanding of environmental assessment
Proficient in AutoCAD and Adobe Creative Suite
Commercially aware
Awareness of Landscape and Visual Impact Assessments LVIAs
Motivation and drive to learn about the sector
Strong team work and interpersonal skills

About the Role

Working as a Graduate Landscape Architect, you will have the chance to work on a range of projects from residential schemes for major UK building companies to mixed use developments and strategic urban extensions. You will liaise with clients and sub consultants, ensuring all work is delivered to the highest possible standards. You will assist the more senior team members on a wide and varied range of tasks, including producing detailed designs, plans and reports. You will be required to draw by hand as well as using industry standard software including AutoCAD, SketchUp and InDesign.
