You will be expected to take part in all daily routines to ensure that the individual needs of the children are met.
You will be part of a team providing a safe and secure environment for the children.
- Day to day care of the children
- Cleaning and tidying of the Nursery
- Assisting with toilet and nappy changing
- Helping with play activities
- Meeting and greeting parents
- Filling out paperwork and completing observations
Activities provided will enhance all areas of development according to the policies and procedures of the setting including any domestic duties.
Safeguarding Children’s Welfare is our top priority and all applicants will be required to supply 2 references and will undergo a DBS check.

The current basic qualification you need to work with the early years age group and to work your way up a career pathway. It has a minimum credit value of 150 credits and also attracts UCAS points.
You may choose to stay working in the early years sector and work your way up or you may choose to move onto further training:
