Accountabilities or “What you have to do”
- Expedite parts from Suppliers to provide emergency back order support.
- Provide logistical and operational support to ensure emergency parts are delivered on time and to the right destination.
- Order and maintain control of inventories to ensure the right parts are in the right place at the right time.
- Ensure that company parts availability targets are met through pro-active stock management.
- Manage and monitor supplier performance and relationship, maintaining purchasing requests.
- Work with suppliers systems and processes where appropriate.
- Maintain suggested daily stock orders from suppliers to maintain correct stock levels for all branches.
- Ensure all stock received is receipted and maintain daily and weekly reports to chase outstanding orders.
- Responsible for specific commodity availability, critical parts and NPI (New Product Introduction) stocking.
- Maintain parts and pricing records to ensure accuracy of parts information.
- Support all operations with parts information and queries being a key contact with named areas.
- Provide monthly reports to support key performance indicators.
- Manage inventories using ABCD classifications and Poisson calculations to control min/max, surplus and parts being returned to suppliers.
- Maintain and control supplier warranty and order discrepancy processes to ensure that Finning UK recovers its costs.
- Provide support for all CIC functions as required
- Work on a rotation to cover the operational hours to meet the business requirements and provide out of hours cover for emergency parts.
- Lead supply chain projects and initiatives to support business targets.
- Carry out all administration to support stock control processes.
