Assisting with all roles within the school office including:




  • Distributing messages around the school

  • Dealing with stock deliveries

  • Filing student data

  • Opening and distributing post

  • Regular stock checks of stationary

  • Maintaining student permission information on excel

  • Answering the phone and passing on messages

  • Photocopying for all staff

  • Assisting with free school meal data on SIMs and with local authority and parents.

  • Greeting visitors at reception and issuing name badges.

  • First responder for office enquiries particularly from children. Especially during children’s lunchtimes and busy periods.

  • Assist with class registers ensuring children are accounted for daily and to a deadline.

  • You would come into contact with a wide range of people including teachers, pupils, parents and carers, education officers, social workers and school governors.

  • Able to manage workload and work independently, using your own initiative.

  • General typing

  • Act in accordance with all school policies and procedures

  • Confident, friendly, flexible individual.

  • Ability to use their own initiative.

  • Thrive on a fast pacer busy environment but also able to undertake basic day to day tasks



Skills Required :

  • Excellent computer skills

  • Confident telephone manner

  • Mature attitude

  • Good communicator

  • Good literacy and numeracy skills

  • Ability to prioritise
