Job Description
Duties include:
- To assist in the provision of patient care in accordance with the care plan. Example of duties, washing, bathing, nutrition, hydration, mobility, rehabilitation and psychological support
- To work with all members of the ward team to promote high quality care and a safe environment
- To develop skills, knowledge and understanding ensuring completion of the Health care apprenticeship framework and maintain a portfolio. As part of the framework you are required to attend compulsory study days
- To assist in general clerical activities to support the clinical environment and patient care
- To assist in the care and support of visitors
- To undertake tasks which have been delegated to you, or for which you have been deemed competent
- To communicate effectively with members of the multi-disciplinary team

Future Prospects : Upon successful completion of level 2 apprenticeship there may be an opportunity to progress to advanced apprenticeship.
