Job Description
Working as part of a team in this paperless practice your main roles will be to:
Receive, assist and direct patients in accessing the appropriate service or healthcare professional in a courteous, efficient and effective way.
Provide general assistance to the Practice team and project a positive and friendly image to patients and other visitors, either in person or via the telephone.
The practice has an automated check in system but occasionally receptionist will still be required to be on the front desk.
Example responsibilities will be:
- Providing administrative support
- Receiving patients
- Processing appointments and after training booking them.
- Updating database –registrations of new patients and changes of address
- Answering the telephone
- Dealing with Mail
