Job Description
Your main duty is to promote good health and wellbeing within the nursery. You will also be responsible for helping to promote social, physical and emotional development of each child within your remit and contribute towards their care.
Roles and Responsibilities include:
- Meeting and greeting parents and children at the nursery.
- Support with outdoor play.
- Participate in learning activities with the children e.g. reading, numeracy and literacy activities.
- Ensure a good standard of safety, hygiene and cleanliness are maintained at all times within the nursery.
- Assist at snack times and meal times.
- Communicate directly with the parents and families to encourage the child.
- Make sure that all children are treated equally.
- Ensure safety of each child within your remit.
- Care for children between the ages of 3 years and 5 years.

- Confident with speaking to parents and children.
- Fun in their approach.
- Good personal appearance.
- Good communication skills.
- Good punctuality.
Skills Required :
- The ability to work well within a team and own initiative.
- Creativity and imagination.
- Planning and organisational skills
