Job Description
The post holder will be expected to assist the reception team in the smooth running of the department. They will be expected to carry out the following duties on a daily basis:
- Deal with patient queries at the reception desk
- Book in patients for appointments when they arrive at the desk
- Book follow up appointments for patients at the desk
- Photocopy patient leaflets / forms
- File medical records
- Stock control of administrative products
- Tidy clinical rooms & ensure stocked with required products
- Frank daily post and take to the post office
- Make refreshments
The post holder will liaise with doctors, nurses, patients and other staff members therefore good communication skills will be essential.
