The Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen to gain experience in a busy team, whilst also working towards a Business Administration apprenticeship qualification. This role sits within the Place directorate and involves working across both School Meals and Building Cleaning Services. This is an ideal opportunity for someone who looking to start their career and learn at the same time, whilst supporting a key service of Bolton Council.
You will work alongside the Service Management team supporting them in a range of key duties, such as recruitment and training, administration and minute-taking, technical support, and overall assistance for the promotion of the service. You will also gain a wide range of knowledge of the school meals and cleaning services and be given opportunities to shadow and learn from other colleagues and senior managers.
The successful candidate will undertake a Business Administration apprenticeship alongside the role, with 20% of your working week dedicated to your apprenticeship work.
About You
We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic and eager to learn.
You must have a flexible approach to work and be keen apply your developing skills and knowledge to a varied and interesting role. You will need to have good communication skills and be organised as well as demonstrate accuracy and attention to detail.
The successful candidate must be confident with IT, including Microsoft Office.
