With all this growth, we’re looking for people who want to learn on the job and lead projects, knowing that your ideas will impact thousands of small businesses.The roleWorking as part of our Finance Team, you will take on a range of administrative tasks supporting our Reconciliation Manager and team who has responsibility for financial operations. Starting in June 2024, you'll work over a 13 month fixed-term contract period be responsible for:Directly assisting in the management and organisation treasury administration, liaising with stakeholders both internally (Signatories, Capital Markets, Transaction Management) and externally (Bank)Helping collate and input data to build periodic financial reports required internally across the Finance TeamHelping the reconciliation analysts with the loan book reconciliation process, using our in-house tech-built reconciliation tools to solve reconciliation errorsMonitoring and assisting the team across operational queries from the business that are received dailyAssisting the wider finance team with ad-hoc project requestsRequirementsWe look for people who are smart, humble, motivated and who are always looking to improve. Ideally, you'll be: Extremely accurate with an analytical mindset, excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skillsCurrently studying at university (preferably in a numerical-based subject area) and looking for a placement/internship opportunity over the year period 2024/25Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office, particularly ExcelAble to demonstrate high academic achievement through past results in both A-Levels & current university studiesWe work hard to make iwoca a place where everyone feels welcome, where you can confidently be yourself.
