Graduate IT Support Analyst

Bolton

Up to £27,000 DOE


ShortList Recruitment have an exciting Graduate IT Support Analyst role for a market-leading business based in Bolton, who are in the process of building out their IT function.


The role is providing 1st line support to end-users via phone, email, and in person. It would suits someone with experience in a similar role using Microsoft technology, who has skills in troubleshooting hardware and software, and dealing with network-related issues. As the client are investing a lot in growing their IT function currently, this role can offer great growth opportunities for motivated candidates; who can grow alongside the business.


Responsibilities for the Graduate IT Support Analyst:

  • Respond to incoming support requests via phone, email, or ticketing system in a timely manner.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Microsoft Windows operating systems, Office 365, and other Microsoft products.
  • Install, configure, and maintain software applications and hardware components.
  • Collaborate with second line support technicians to escalate complex issues when necessary.
  • Document support activities, solutions, and procedures for knowledge sharing and future reference.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest Microsoft technologies and certifications to enhance technical skills and knowledge.


Requirements for the Graduate IT Support Analyst:

  • Commercial experience in a similar role (Desirable but not essential).
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Windows 10, Office 365, and Active Directory.
  • Familiarity with troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • IT related degree (desirable).


The Graduate IT Support Analyst role is based in Bolton and has the benefit of hybrid working long-term. The position is paying up to £27,000 DOE. The position is commutable from Warrington, Blackburn, Manchester, Rochdale and Wigan.
